Orkest-wide defaults for the agents, executors, and the video-review pipeline. Linear-specific options live in Linear integration.

Desktop notifications

Get a browser notification when a plan or plan task finishes. Requires an open Orkest tab and permission from your browser.

Plan finished

Notify when a plan reaches finished status.

Task finished

Notify when a plan task finishes (excludes lead tasks).

Agents & executors

Defaults applied to every agent invocation. The working directory is required — without it a plan's lead agent cannot run.

Working directory

The directory executors run agent processes in. Also used as the working directory of plans created from Linear issues.

Skip permissions

Run executors with auto-approved tool use (e.g. claude --dangerously-skip-permissions).

Shared system prompt

A system prompt prepended to every agent invocation.

Deferred retry

Automatically re-run Claude Code invocations that failed with a token/usage limit (429) or provider overload (529). Enabled by default; scans on a schedule and spawns a new attempt (or re-runs the linked plan task).

Enable deferred retry

Hourly system loop for quota and overload failures.

Scan interval (seconds)

Minimum gap between scans. Default 3600 (1 hour). Values below 60s are clamped to one minute.

Max attempts per failure

How many successor runs may be spawned from one failed parent. Default 5.

Executor binaries

Optional overrides for the agent runtime binaries. Leave blank to use the executor's built-in default (the runtime must still be on PATH to be registered).

Video review & TTS

The text-to-speech backend and the Remotion rendering pipeline used to produce review videos.

TTS provider

ElevenLabs requires an API key; Mock produces no audio (dev/no-key fallback).

Stored write-only — leave blank to keep the current key.

Overrides the default ElevenLabs voice. Empty = the package default.

Video renderer path

Path to the Remotion project directory. Default: video-renderer (a sibling of backend/).

FFmpeg path

Remotion browser executable

Chromium/Chrome binary for headless rendering. Empty = auto-detect (slow download fallback).

Render timeout (seconds)

Max time for a single video render. Blank = 3600 (60 min).

Audio clip retention (days)

How long orphaned review audio is kept. Blank = 30 days.
