Where to execute

Isolated worktree A git worktree on a new work branch forked from the base branch. A directory of repositories gets one worktree and branch per repository. Working directory Work in place on the currently checked-out branch — no new branch. Delivery then merges or pushes that branch.

Where to deliver

Local The result stays in the local repository; nothing is pushed. Remote Push to origin. After a successful push the local work branch is deleted (worktree runs only — your own checkout is never touched). Local and remote Deliver locally and push to origin; local branches are kept.

How to deliver

Merge into base branch Merge the work branch into the base branch locally. Pull request Push the work branch and open a PR into the base branch. Requires gh on the server. Push branch only Push the work branch to origin; no merge, no PR.

Base branch

The branch work is forked from and delivered into. Leave empty to auto-detect.

Work branch name

The branch the worktree runs on. Leave empty for an auto-generated name; set a Linear-suggested name to match the issue.

Parent branch

Merge delivery only: if the base branch doesn't exist yet, orkest creates it from this branch.
